In our previous newsletters (which you can find here), we already guided you through the most important changes of the new Code of Companies and Associations (hereafter “CCA”). When you toasted to the new year on 1 January 2020, you probably didn't realize it, but 1 January 2020 was an important date for the CCA. Even though the bylaws of a company, association or foundation only have to be adapted to the CCA on 1 January 2024, the CCA has consequences for all companies, associations and foundations as of 1 January 2020.
